The French crawler excavator market between 6 to 12 tons is doing well. France is the second biggest market ahead of Germany.
Over the five first months of this year, the market is up by 12% compared to the same period last year. About 930 units have been sold over the period. Sales have increased mostly in two regions: Grand Est (Eastern part of France) and Normandie. The crawler excavator market is growing fast due to the expansion of construction industries.
In 2018, France was ranked third, just behind Germany. This year, the French market is 10% above the German market. Furthermore, the English market is well in the lead: it is one and a half times bigger than the French market.
